Led by a second-generation family of industry pioneers, GPS Financial (GPS) is a living legacy. Our wisdom is hard earned and well protected within an active and constantly evolving culture of excellence.
Bob began his career in the Financial Services Industry in 1970 after completing his formal education with a major in business at Weber State. As the founding advisor for GPS, Bob has been instrumental in enabling his clients to transform their businesses into vibrant multigenerational organizations.
"Our Goal Is To Help Transition Clients From Being A Family Business To Being A Business Family." During Bob’s first 20 years in the Financial Services industry, his focus was helping his friends and clients start and grow their businesses. To his disappointment, he watched many of the most successful businesses in his area fail as the second and third generations took over. In 1987, Bob created GPS to assist clients in becoming the 10% of small businesses nationwide that succeed into the third generation. Over the next 20 years, Bob has been instrumental in enabling his clients to successfully transition their family business into “business families.”
Bob is a graduate of the Masters Program of the Strategic Coach Program®, the premier coaching program for successful entrepreneurs. He also spends time each year with many of the world’s foremost experts in planning through invitation-only organizations such as The Forum 400, MDRT, Top of the Table, Empowered Wealth, and Entrepreneurs Matter. Bob spent many years as a board member of the Tri-Cities Cancer Center Foundation. From 2008 to 2010, Bob and Ann traveled to New York City to help develop skills of the unemployed. Bob enjoys spending time with his wife and business partner of over 45 years, his seven kids and over thirty grandchildren. |
